[19p-A33-17] Nonlinear Molecular-Plasmon Interaction in NLO Polymer/Au Nanoparticle Hybrid System.

We report on second harmonic generation behavior of NLO polymer/Au nanoparticle hybrid structure. Our previous study showed that the SHG conversion efficiency of the Au nanoprism at the surface plasmon resonance was by two orders of magnitude enhanced by coating it with a polymer film rich in nonlinear susceptibility. We will discuss about the molecule-plasmon interaction associated with this enhancement from the data of the SHG signal against the polymer thickness.
