Under intense laser pulses, nonlinear optical effects such as harmonic generation are occurred by using all-dielectric nanostructures. In this research, the coupled method of the electromagnetic simulation and the electron dynamics simulation based on semiconductor Bloch equations is applied to silicon nanocylinders and grating structures. I will explain the spatial distribution of the electromagnetic field and the parameter dependence of harmonic generation near silicon nanostructure.
