〇Tetsuya Asai1 (1.Hokkaido University)

Keywords:

reservoir computing,semiconductor

Reservoir computing is a concept that generalizes specialized models of recurrent neural networks, particularly suitable for processing time-series information. Recently, there has been growing interest in applying physical reservoirs to machine learning devices. Among these physical reservoirs, CMOS physical reservoirs allow the construction of reservoirs and learning mechanisms from the bottom up, while working within limited hardware resources. In this context, I’ll introduce the concept of reservoir computing, its applications, and highlight creative approaches to enhancing reservoir computer performance.
