Hydrogen production by water electrolysis is considered as a promising method to realize the sustainable carbon-free society. In particular, alkaline water electrolysis has an advantage that base metals such as Ni can be used for the electrode material.
In the report at Spring meeting, we performed laser texturing of the Ni electrode (cathode) for hydrogen evolution reaction under various texturing conditions, and compared their electrolytic properties. This time, we performed similar laser texturing of the Ni electrode (anode) for oxygen evolution reaction, and compared their electrolytic properties.
