Gait is an important biosignal that enables the early diagnosis of gait-related symptoms, thus it is essential to monitor it. Among various platforms for long-term monitoring, socks are highly promising, as they provide portable measurements both indoors and outdoors. However, current methods for producing gait-monitoring socks have several drawbacks, such as the needing additional process (e.g., sewing), difficulties in data process, and the underutilization of the advantage of textiles. In this study, we developed a structure-based all-textile pressure sensors that can be incorporated into gait-monitoring socks via only one fabrication step, while preserving the advantage of textiles. The sensor also shows good repeatability (1000 times presses), and mechanical durability (1000 times stretches).
