Our group has been developing cryotargets to be used as targets for laser-driven proton beam acceleration experiments. In this study, we focused on hydrogen cluster targets among cryotargets. The cluster size depends on the temperature of the nozzle cooled to cryogenic temperature. Therefore, we simulated the state of hydrogen gas inside the cluster nozzle using ANSYS Fluent, a thermo-fluid simulation software.
