The concept of topological insulators has been applied to diffusion phenomena in recent years, particularly in thermal diffusion systems. In the topological thermal diffusion systems, pioneer studies have demonstrated the thermal localization and anti-parity-time symmetry. Progressing understand of topological diffusion scheme, thermal systems can be expected to control the anisotropic thermal flow in the future. In this presentation, we introduce the results of a numerical investigation of the anisotropy of heat flow between hexagonal unit cells for topological edge modes. Our temporal calculations show that the thermal distributions based on the edge modes exhibit the anisotropic diffusion in terms of the thermal flow between the unit cells.
