Biofilms, which are biofilms formed by microorganisms, cause infectious diseases and food poisoning, making it urgent to establish sterilization methods. In this study, we investigated the sterilization characteristics of biofilms and the main sterilization factors using active species generated by RF oxygen plasma and RF water plasma. When Bacillus natto encapsulated in a polyglutamic acid biofilm was irradiated with oxygen plasma as a sterilization target, a decrease in the number of viable bacteria was observed.
