The purpose of this study is to investigate the reliability of five kinds of PV modules under actual operating conditions in Japan. The investigation used not only outdoor current–voltage (I–V) curves of PV strings measured using an I–V curve tracer for PV arrays from October 2010 to March 2023, but also I–V curves of the PV modules measured indoors using a pulsed solar simulator from 2012 to 2019.
