Space development has progressed through national projects, but recently, private companies have been taking the lead in technological development. One of the strategic areas anticipated in the new space age is the utilization of photonics technology, which has not been widely used in space applications. We invite photonics researchers to participate in this symposium and take this opportunity to apply their outstanding research achievements, conducted for terrestrial industries, to the formation of the new space age.
