Space debris refers to the unwanted artificial objects orbiting the Earth at high speeds, and their numbers steadily increase. To ensure future space development's sustainability, removing these debris from Earth's orbit is crucial. According to NASA's estimates, at least five pieces of debris must be removed annually. This presentation will introduce debris removal technology using lasers mounted on satellites and lidar technology for measuring the Earth's surface from orbit.
