Quantum infrared spectroscopy enables the extraction of infrared optical properties of sample using visible light sources and detectors by utilizing quantum interference of generation processes of frequency-correlated visible-IR photon pairs. Here, we will present a theoretical and experimental investigation of the effect of the linewidth of a pulsed pump laser on the spectral resolution of quantum Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy method. Our results will open a new direction for high- spectral-resolution ultrafast IR spectroscopy with femtosecond time resolution with a simple and compact setup using visible sources and detectors.
