Thermoelectric conversion elements are used to convert heat into electricity and are expected to re-use unused heat. However, in a uniform thermal radiation environment, it is difficult to generate electricity due to the disappearance of temperature gradients. Therefore, metamaterials (MAs) were used to enable thermoelectric power generation even in a uniform environment. Fullerene (C60) electrodes were introduced to evaluate the influence of thermal radiation absorption properties. The results suggest that the heat flow on the device can be artificially controlled by controlling the thermal radiation properties of the electrode.
