The biosensing technology using solid-state nanopores is based on the phenomenon of ion transport inhibition(as known as resistive pulse sensing) as analytes pass through the nanopores. Recently, research applications focusing on the essence of ion transport have garnered attention. In this study, we analyzed the ion transport effects in high aspect ratio nanopores while maintaining the electric double layer regions. Simulation results revealed the impact of nanopore structures on ion concentration distribution, leading to the proposal of an optimal nanopore design guideline.
