Devices in the terahertz range are expected to have applications in various fields such as communication, medicine, and security, necessitating the development of terahertz wave propagation control technology. We have designed and demonstrated a rotator that achieves an optical rotation of approximately 90 degrees over a wide band of 1-2 THz using an effective medium made solely of high-resistance silicon with low absorption loss in the terahertz range. Additionally, we analyzed its optical properties.
