Azobenzene particles whose shape can be controlled by photoisomerization are useful as an anchor to manipulate liquid in the nanometer scale. The purpose of this study is to develop a method for controlling locally azo micro particles and forming nano liquid networks structures using localized surface plasmon of metallic nano particles excited by local polarization of optical near-fields. We evaluated the particle production from azo thin film with AuNPs and its anisotropy of the shape.
