optical frequency comb
Micro-comb generated by micro-optical resonators using optical waveguides is expected to be used for next-generation mobile communications, LiDAR and other applications due to its future advantages such as ultra-compact integration, simplicity and low cost. Currently, free-space optical systems consisting of lensed fibres and micro-optical system are used, but the coupling efficiency shows a drift tendency. To solve this problem, a fiber-coupled micro-optical resonator was fabricated to generate stable soliton micro-optical combs.
