Prosthetic sockets function as the important connection between a residual limb and an artificial limb because they affect ease, operation, and recovery. Materials innovations improved adaptability with strength-to-weight ratios [1],[2]. Composite polymers, shape memory alloys, and 3-D printed lattice structures stand as some examples within these innovations. An enhancement that is promising has emerged as implantable biosensors in recent times. Because they offer real-time data to personalize fit, reduce complications, and improve clinical decision-making [6], these biosensors can monitor parameters like pressure, strain, plus temperature at the limb–socket interface.
