In this study, we propose a 3-D boundary charge method considering space charge effects. In this method, a virtual anode is inserted near the cathode. The electric potential, electric field, and current density between the cathode and the virtual anode are calculated analytically, while the actual electron trajectory calculation is performed from the virtual anode to the anode. In this paper, we present the first stage of development: the development of the fundamental aspects of the boundary charge method incorporating space charge effects between parallel plate electrodes.
