This study reports the results of an evaluation of non-invasive, individualized triglyceride measurement using mid-infrared ATR spectroscopy for daily health management. A comparison of ATR spectra obtained from the fingertips of 17 healthy individuals revealed spectral differences reflecting variations in blood triglyceride concentrations and skin composition. Partial least squares regression analysis of these spectra yielded a prediction accuracy with a coefficient of determination of 0.61, indicating the potential for measurement across multiple subjects.
