In this study, we employ simulations to investigate the mechanisms underlying enhanced Si ablation efficiency in the GHz burst mode, focusing on the effects of sub-pulse number and sub-pulse frequency. Simulations based on the two-temperature model reveal that closely spaced sub-pulses within a GHz burst pulse induce transient melting and significantly enhance the ejection of molten material via recoil pressure.
