Double perovskite semiconductors have attracted considerable attention as lead-free photovoltaic materials. In this study, the effects of synthesis conditions on the optical properties of Cu-doped Cs2AgSbCl6 single crystals were investigated. The obtained single crystals exhibited a cubic Fm3-m structure, and the lattice constant decreased with increasing Cu content. Diffuse reflectance measurements revealed that the absorption behavior depended on the synthesis conditions, suggesting that differences in the Cu doping state and/or defect formation behavior influence the optical properties.
