Recently, we have successfully developed a high-sensitive gas analysis technique combining with the infrared spectroscopy and differential pressure measurement. This novel measurement technique measures the light absorption process of molecules as a pressure change within the system, enabling trace gas analysis on the ppm order. We found that the pressure increase is proportional to the laser light intensity, which is consistent with predictions from theoretical calculations. When the buffer gas was changed, we found that the pressure increase was proportional to the gas mass. Further details will be presented in a lecture.
