Ion traps with high fluorescence-detection efficiency enable high-fidelity readout of the quantum states of trapped ions. We propose a trap structure that integrates trap electrodes with a reflective optical system, using the electrodes themselves as mirrors to achieve a fluorescence-collection solid angle exceeding 50%. Furthermore, we aim to suppress excess micromotion in all directions, which may introduce systematic errors in precision spectroscopic measurements, by optimizing the symmetry and geometry of the electrodes. In this presentation, we will report on the expected performance of the proposed ion trap.
