Recent advances in electric-double-layer transistor (EDLT) structures using ionic liquids have enabled high-density carrier doping and achieved metallic states in organic semiconductor single-crystal thin films. Here, we fabricated an EDLT structure on a C9-DNBDT thin-film single crystal to inject high-density carriers and investigated its electronic state using operando ESR. Based on our findings, we will discuss the electronic states and spin relaxation mechanisms in high-carrier-density organic semiconductors.
