In this study, we realized an interference optical field with a uniform optical energy density, where only the optical chirality is spatially modulated, by using two orthogonal linearly polarized beams. By scanning a single chiral gold nanoparticle within this optical field, we successfully imaged the spatial distribution of the chiroptical response, which coincided with the modulation period of the optical chirality. Because this achievement can eliminate the influence of achiral optical intensity gradient forces, it will serve as an important experimental platform toward the realization of future material separation technologies using chiral optical forces.
