[10a-E203-9] Quantum capacitance of fused pentagonal carbon network

We investigated the quantum capacitance of the fused pentagonal C network using the density functional theory combined with the effective screening medium method. Our calculation showed that the capacitance weakly depends on the gate voltage. We also found that the capacitance is larger by 40 % than that of the geometric capacitance, owing to the quantum spill of electrons outside the layer.
