To further promote boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) as a reliable cancer treatment approach, real-time dosimetry is essential. This study focused on a Si/TlBr semiconductor Compton camera specifically designed for 478 keV prompt gamma-ray imaging in BNCT, and attempted to develop a novel event selection method that utilizes scattering angle information of Compton events for background noise events reduction.
