Keywords:
anomalous Hall effect,transverse magneto-thermoelectric effect
The anomalous Hall effect (AHE) is one of the most fundamental spintronic transport phenomena. Owing to the spin-orbit interaction in magnetic conductors, AHE can generate a transverse charge current, and its characteristic has been widely utilized for magnetization characterization, magnetic sensing, spin-current generation, and so on. Recently, the combination of AHE and thermoelectric materials has been shown to realize transverse thermoelectric power-generation performance which greatly surpasses that of magnetic conductors alone, highlighting a new direction of AHE for spin-caloritronic applications. In this talk, we report an AHE-driven thermoelectric-temperature-modulation functionality in a magnetic/thermoelectric hybrid structure consisting of electrically connected two layers that form a closed circuit.
