[10a-E214-8] Scintillation and Thermoluminescence Properties of Eu²⁺ -Doped BaFBr Crystals

Further improvements in the accuracy of radiation detection require the development of high-performance scintillators with superior luminescence properties. Among the Eu²⁺-doped mixed-halide crystals developed by our group, some exhibit excellent scintillation performance, while others show storage luminescence characteristics. In this study, Eu²⁺-doped BaFBr crystals were prepared, and the relationship between scintillation and thermoluminescence was investigated through analyses of their Eu concentration dependences.
