[10a-E217-2]Optical Simulation of Absorption Efficiency in III–V Nanowire Solar Cells

III–V nanowire structures have attracted attention as a promising approach for improving the efficiency of solar cells for a decarbonized society. In this study, optical simulations of III–V nanowire solar cells were performed using COMSOL to investigate the effects of nanowire diameter, height, pitch, and material composition on absorption efficiency. The results showed that optimization of the nanowire structure enhances absorption efficiency and provides design guidelines for achieving higher-performance solar cells.
