g-C3N4 nanosheets are promising photocatalysts for the degradation of organic pollutants due to their visible-light responsiveness; however, rapid recombination of photoexcited carriers limits their activity. In this study, the photocatalytic properties of oxygen plasma-assisted annealed (PAA) g-C3N4 nanosheets were evaluated under white LED irradiation. The effectiveness of the PAA treatment was clarified through comparison with oxygen plasma treatment alone and thermal annealing alone.
