While material discrimination is a key focus in spectral X-ray CT imaging, the volume of data transferred from the detector to the computer is enormous. In this study, to reduce the amount of data transferred, we compared and evaluated the data volume and reconstruction image quality of various compression methods (16/8-bit uniform quantization, Implicit Neural Representation: INR) using actual sinogram data. We imaged a button cell (LR44, 2048×64 elements, 1440 views) using a PCD and compared the compression performance.
