In this study, we investigated a spiral-shaped coplanar electrode structure for TlBr detectors, aiming to achieve both high energy resolution and a large sensitive volume. In conventional comb-shaped coplanar electrodes, spatial nonuniformity in the weighting potential difference may cause the signal amplitude to depend on the interaction position. Therefore, we evaluated two-dimensional distributions of the cathode and differential signal amplitudes through simulation and examined the effect of the spiral-shaped electrode structure on signal formation characteristics.
