This study aims to realize nanoparticle trapping using graphene plasmonic nanostructures with excellent electric-field enhancement properties in the mid-infrared region. Numerical simulations revealed that the electric field was enhanced by approximately 300 times near the graphene edges, generating sufficient optical forces to trap particles with a diameter of 100 nm. These results demonstrate the potential for wavelength-selective trapping when combined with molecular vibrational resonances. Currently, efforts are focused on establishing the fabrication process of the nanostructures and comparing their performance with that of gold nanostructures.
