Keywords:

Sn-based perovskite

To control crystallization in low-toxicity Sn-based perovskite solar cells, the Sn2+ coordination states in DMSO/DMF mixed solvents were evaluated by FTIR and correlated with the crystallinity of the resulting films. Shifts of the S=O and C=O stretching vibrations to lower wavenumbers suggested coordination of both solvents to Sn2+. The effects of the DMSO/DMF solvent ratio on complex stability and crystallization behavior, as well as the effect of 4-tert-butylpyridine addition, will be discussed.
