In this study, n–i–p structured perovskite solar cells incorporating a HAT-CN layer on the hole transport layer were fabricated and evaluated. The absorption spectra showed no significant changes upon HAT-CN insertion, indicating that HAT-CN had little effect on the optical absorption properties of the devices. In contrast, J–V measurements revealed that the short-circuit current density (Jsc) and open-circuit voltage (Voc) remained nearly unchanged, while the fill factor (FF) increased, resulting in improved power conversion efficiency (PCE). Furthermore, a reduction in series resistance was observed, suggesting that the insertion of the HAT-CN layer enhanced hole extraction at the hole transport layer/electrode interface.
