Normal-dispersion Kerr microresonators support platicons — flat-topped dark-pulse states for power-efficient microcombs — but at high intensity stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) generates a Stokes field that can co-localize with the platicon as a localized Stokes structure. With a coupled dual-field Lugiato–Lefever model we show that under pulsed pumping the sign of the Stokes-field group velocity dispersion sets the form of this localized Stokes structure.
