[10p-A31-12] Enhancement of transport critical current by flux trapping in Sn-Pb solder

Sn-Pb solder with a phase-separated structure exhibits a flux-trapping phenomenon. In this study, we compared the critical current of a Sn10-Pb90 (wt.%) sample between the flux-trapped and non-flux-trapped states. An enhancement of the critical current by flux trapping was observed, which is attributed to the stability of magnetic flux strongly pinned in the Sn regions.
