We report on the magnetic-field and temperature dependence of the superconducting diode efficiency in REBCO-coated conductors. Oxygen annealing was applied to control the carrier density, and the diode efficiency was measured for samples prepared under different annealing conditions. Characteristic features in the efficiency–field curves, including a sign reversal of the diode efficiency, were observed. The results are discussed in terms of the Bean–Livingston surface barrier. Hall measurements of the carrier density will also be presented.
