In this lecture, I will detail the utility and applications of the "operando electron spin resonance (ESR) method for soft semiconductor devices" that we have independently developed. Following an overview of the fundamental principles and characteristics of the ESR method, I will present our research findings on carrier dynamics in various systems, including charge transport mechanisms in organic semiconductor transistors, organic thin-film solar cells, inorganic semiconductor transistors, organic light-emitting devices, and perovskite semiconductor solar cells.
