Endovascular neural interfaces are emerging as minimally invasive platforms for brain-machine interfaces (BMIs), enabling neural recording and potential therapeutic applications without invasive surgery. In this talk, I will introduce our development of endovascular neural interface technologies for next-generation BMIs. I will discuss the design and evaluation of endovascular electrodes, neural signal decoding from vascularly recorded brain activity, and potential clinical applications for restoring communication and motor functions in patients with severe neurological disorders. I will also discuss remaining technical, regulatory, and translational challenges toward clinical implementation.
