To achieve an infrared response through the formation of conductive junction structures between silica-gold core-shell nanoparticles, junction formation methods using light irradiation and H2O2 were investigated. SEM observations before and after near-ultraviolet light irradiation confirmed an increase in particle size due to gold deposition on the particle surface, as well as the formation of bridge-like structures connecting adjacent particles. In addition, a chemical junction formation method using H2O2 was also examined. In this presentation, the junction formation results obtained by both methods will be reported.
