Ionic liquids [Cnmim][Tf2N](n=2,4) were introduced into the nanopores of single-crystal Cu3(btc)2 synthesized by the solvothermal method. The dependence of their dynamic behavior on cation structure and crystal orientation was investigated. The sample containing the smaller cation, [C2mim][Tf2N], exhibited higher conductivity. In the transient response of ε' at1kHz under different electric-field directions, differences in the rise time were observed, which are considered to originate from differences in the effect of confinement within the framework.
