The use of lasers is gaining attention as a technique for crystallization control, especially in terms of spatiotemporal and polymorphic regulation. This study reports on crystallization under precipitant-free (salt-free) conditions, leveraging the local concentration effect induced by optical trapping via focused continuous-wave laser irradiation. Crystallization proceeded within 10 minutes at the focal spot, revealing that the crystallization pathways differ substantially between water and heavy-water conditions.
