We have developed a variable-focus lens whose shape is deformed by acoustic radiation force, enabling adjustment of its focal length. In this report, we particularly evaluate the improvement of the optical performance of the lens using a wavefront sensor. Since this lens consists of a simple structure comprising only a piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer, silicone gel as the lens material, and a glass disk, miniaturization and a thin profile can be achieved.
