surface acoustic waves
Surface acoustic waves (SAW) are waves that propagate along the surface of an elastic material. When a thin liquid film is present on the SAW propagation surface, fine droplets (mist) are generated. This phenomenon is known as atomization. In this study, we focus on the excellent atomization characteristics of the device and investigate its practical engineering applications. We constructed an experimental setup that simulates inhalation during breathing and conducted an investigation of the mist.
