Atmospheric-pressure plasma in contact with liquids is useful as a means of supplying reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) generated by plasma into the liquid phase. However, the mechanisms of generation and transport of reactive species across the plasma–liquid interface have not yet been fully elucidated. Therefore, we attempted to measure gas-phase species in a high-speed liquid-flow plasma system. In this presentation, we report the results of gas-phase species measurements under various plasma conditions using optical emission spectroscopy (OES), laser-induced fluorescence (LIF), and related techniques.
