The 1 mol% Fe2O3-added LATP was sintered in a reducing atmosphere and subsequently surface-treated with a Yb laser (3–15 W). Characterization by DTA, XRD, laser microscopy, cross-sectional SEM, and AC impedance spectroscopy revealed that the laser treatment densified the surface and reduced the surface electrical resistance from 1.25 × 107 Ω before irradiation to 16,278 Ω.
