With Tohoku Univ. as the core institution, and Hirosaki Univ., Iwate Univ., Akita Univ., Yamagata Univ., and Fukushima Univ. as partner institutions, alongside six Kosen as participating entities, this initiative drives semiconductor human resource development through industry-academia-government collaboration with the regional consortium "T-Seeds." By leveraging the advanced educational and research environment of Tohoku University Semiconductor Creativity Hub (S-Hub), we aim to cultivate talent capable of overseeing the entire technological value chain, increase the number of master's students pursuing semiconductor careers, and establish an industry-academia matching system. Through these efforts, we will foster and deliver top-tier semiconductor talent from the Tohoku region, ensuring excellence in both quality and quantity.
